Week 3 Part B

When developing a brand one must come up with an idea that they think will be successful and achieve what they hope to with this idea. This can be a whole new invention or a line of brands that is very competitive, which is up to the founder of the company. It is very important to make sure before getting the brand off the ground you have a great PR and Marketing team in order to sell to your desired consumers. This is a very crucial step and one many overlook.

It is up to a company whether or not they have sponsorships with celebrities in order to promote their brand and product. This is a new step but one that could make or break a business. Many people look up to social media influencers for what their favorite products are and often purchase these. It is important that this is a person with little to no controversy behind them so the brand does not take a downfall as well.

It is also very important to have great investors who believe in the brand. These people could be family or friends who want to support the business and lend a helping hand. Most often, they benefit from this trade and support for many years following their investment. It is important to understand that some investors may need more convincing than others in order to support your brand.

I believe that in order to get your brand running smoothly from the start you hire well-qualified people with great customer service skills. To me, customer service is one of the most important things to take into account when building a brand. People will continue to return back to your brand if your employees are great communicators and overall very friendly. Customer service can make or break a brand if not high quality the brand may fall through.

A brand is held up by the people behind it. If someone is just freshly graduated from college they most likely know what will help their brand in today's day and age rather than an older developer. New techniques are constantly emerging for brands to build off of and the most important nowadays is social media and how companies market themselves on social media. Brands can be successful in a competitive marketplace or in a new idea that has never once been done before.
