From reviewing their social media platforms they use Instagram more than Facebook and often times use their platform to have giveaways which seems to capture many likes and comments. They also have very creative captions and original posts.

It seems as though they rarely use their social media platforms to their advantage. It would be great if they were more engaging with their customers through these platforms which would boost their engagement.

Kept their followers up to date on the pandemic and their seating situations. They often post about new products in their restaurant and new beverages available. If someone comments they often respond back very quickly it seems.

They seem very diverse in their posts and do not shy away from new Instagram features such as IGTV and live videos. They promote different merchandise available as well as new products such as beers.

On this brand's  social media platforms they promote different types of fitness classes as well as have a very aesthetically pleasing page. They use the updated Instagram features provided and do not shy away from going outside of the box.

It is very visible from these websites which is a very large and booming company compared to a small local company. The biggest brand is not afraid to try something different and not be the same as everyone else. The smaller brands should not be afraid to go outside of the box and try something different and more pleasing to their customers.

It is a given that a large multi-million international company would obviously have more followers but these smaller companies could be capable of this if they promoted themselves more on their social media. For example, Hooked on Poke could promote different specials they have going on and not be afraid to post once in a while.

Comments

  1. Bread and Cheese Eatery was pretty good, I used to get their Cali-gold sandwich. What a bummer they had to shut down.
Giveaways definitely bring in more attention and followers, when I first began my baking business I did some giveaways to grow, and to get my name out there. It was very succesful.

    Awesome information!

  2. I liked that you looked at both large and small companies. It provided a nice sense of contrast in your research. I think smaller companies would benefit in "going outside the box," but in my experience, the smaller shops don't have as much funding to put into the marketing campaigns. It leaves me wondering how much bigger small businesses could grow if they were able to dedicate more funding into their marketing campaigns.
