Week 9 Blog Post 1

By adding something that might touch on someone's personal experiences is important when promoting your business. For my business, in particular, we have had many regular customers since the '90s that still come in and get the same exact food every single Wednesday. I think that this is important as in the restaurant we have photos of customers who often visit from Arizona and they know everyone at the restaurant's name. It does not make sense to add a personal touch to a post when you are promoting a new product.

Week 4 Blog Post 2

My target market is tourists who come to the city of Carlsbad. Jay's Gourmet has tons of regular customers who visit very often but due to the prime location of the restaurant, right under the Carlsbad sign in Carlsbad village and less than 100 yards from the beach, people view it as a place where they can easily feed their kids some pizza right after the beach. It is also really cool that almost every kid whose parent works at Jay's gourmet works there as well. The owner is very proud of this as it is very unusual and a great story for customers to hear about.

Week 4 Blog Post 1

Subway and Hungry Bear Deli Both of the company's websites are very professionally done and I enjoy the aesthetically pleasing coloring as well as the logos. There is a call to action on the Subway website under the tab "Responsibility" which is cool and very interesting to read about in my opinion. I believe there is a crossover between the two websites as they are both in the sandwich-making word. Subway is a large franchise but I have never heard of Hungry Bear Deli before. I really enjoyed the professionally taken photos on the Hungry Bear website as well as a tab where you can see the reviews other customers have left. The Subway colors are very classic colors and are very noticeable. I actually enjoy the Hungry Bear website the most due to how clean and professional the website looks. It isn't too much reading and it is more focused on pictures. If there is something important to state they try to make it very universal and not difficult for the average consum

Week 3 Part A

Penny Juice of America- One of the first problems I noticed would be the color blocking they used. personally, it seems though a little "childish" and I understand that's their main consumer, but the parent is buying it not the children. I think their brand slogan personally doesn't make sense to me and can confuse consumers. Another problem is the top of the website should feature different aspects not just all on the home page of the website. I do not think this website is professionally done and the border at the bottom of the website is really an eyesore and the whole thing should be redone in my opinion. I really like the website but maybe they should hire a graphic designer and get the page redone so it is more appealing to the consumer. Gate N Fences- Immediately I noticed the font is too small for the potential customers to read. They have too many side tabs and it is not visually appealing to look at. It is also another problem they only included 3 picture

Week 8 Part A

Pizza Port Brewing Company This company uses hashtags in every single post of theirs. Often times in the comments some people even comment back hashtags. They are normally the name of their business as one of them and the others are the product in which they are trying to promote in that specific post. All of their visuals are great and they do not shy away from out of the box ideas. Gregorio's Restaurant This company takes medium-grade quality photographs of what they are trying to promote. In their caption, it is a great idea to ask a question which oftentimes leads to responses from followers. I really like this method and the engagement it brings. They post often but not too much like some other companies do. Their hashtags are very basic which is good and bad but allows more people to notice them. Beach City Smoothies This business does not use any hashtags in their main caption but comments them. I find this as a very interesting tactic to use as all hashtags which they comm
